Assisted Living
Marian Hall provides a living environment of personal care. It is designed for ambulatory individuals who can benefit from assistance with some of the activities of daily living.
Personal Care Attendants are available to assist the resident as needed with bathing, dressing and grooming. Three meals daily are prepared and served in the Lake View Dining Room, with snacks and beverages offered in-between. A licensed nurse provides medication supervision. While skilled nursing care is not provided in Assisted Living, a Registered Nurse oversees the area and Licensed Professional Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Independence is encouraged. Residents pursue and enjoy their favorite activities and pastimes. Staff provides friendship, assistance and reassurance. Social, cultural, recreational, educational, wellness and spiritual activities are offered as part of the daily activity program.
Marian Hall accommodates sixty residents. Each resident lives in a personally furnished private room. Private bathrooms include showers with built-in seats and assist bars for comfort and safety. Two large, bright sunrooms provide a place for activities or leisurely pursuits.
Admission criteria, in conformity with Mississippi State Department of Health regulations for Assisted Living, must be met. An evaluation to determine whether Assisted Living could adequately meet the individual’s identified needs is fundamental to the application process.
Assisted Living at St. Catherine’s Village offers a protected, dignified environment. It is a step in the Life Care continuum. An individual who is not part of the Life Care program can apply for admission directly to Marian Hall, if availability permits.
